Sabbathday Lake Shaker Community Herb Collection.
I spent 6 weeks living with the last three living Shakers in the world at Glouchester, ME. While in residence I learned from Bro. Arnold about the native edible roots, herbs and flowers and the history of the Herb business at the Sabbathday Lake Community that is still in operation. I created an Elixir that represented the community and pressed 5 gallons of fallen fruit from their apple orchard that fermented as I traveled and was later distilled to preserve this amazing and rare experience with the Nations longest running Utopian sect.
