Projects > The Roadside Show & Tell / 2004-2010

The Roadside Show & Tell is a Nomadic Project that marked my transition from a strictly painting practice into the social sphere. It began when I built a cabinet for "A Simple Plan," a 45" x 45" painting that I took to Death Valley and subjected it to the unknown. It grew into a 10' x10' portable tent that I set up in disparate neighborhoods around San Francisco and learned to invite social interaction through various interactive tools and collaborations. Eventually I took the project across the country for an 8 month solo tour "Looking for Lost America."
