Reconnecting to Home: Looking Backwards at Forward Thinking, A four-story climbable tower commissioned by the New Children's Museum in San Diego, CA, 2015 for Eureka!, an invitational exhibition about California.

This 40' steel framed climbable cell-phone inspired tower, merges San Francisco’s dichotomous obsessions with “advanced” communication technologies and the desire to slow down and get “back to the land.” Each façade on each level represents different peoples and eras of Northern California history, and is activated with low technology communication devices: speaking tubes and pulley systems.

Reclaimed, salvaged and hand harvested materials from around California on steel and wood frame.
