Statement Pieces
For over 10 years I created weekly floral arrangements for the center counter of a wonderful little upscale Cafe in San Francisco. My weekly trip to the flower mart to choose the colors and textures of mostly California and Oregon grown flowers and branches to create seasonal statement pieces was a great artistic routine and joy.
Each arrangement was built on site at Universal Cafe and never photographed professionally. When I remembered, I would try to capture snapshots of the many hundreds of sculptural arrangements I made.
